I started this piece within the first few days of moving into my apartment. The empty white walls were begging for some love. So I taped together three pieces of paper and drew what I know best: women and flowers. I was trapped in this piece for two weeks straight. I would draw for several hours on end and had to forcequit because I got high off sharpie fumes. I would draw and draw and before I knew it, it was 4am, I’ve had a cherry coke in lieu of every meal, and I was accidentally high off my ass.

Nevertheless, this is another identity piece: the way I look out into the world and the way in which it stares right back at me. An intoxicated (literally) love letter to the graceful feminine essence.
